Beschreibung	Die Menge der von Primärproduzenten erzeugten Biomasse, die für heterotrophe Konsumenten verfügbar ist. Der Rest der  Bruttoprimärproduktion wird von der Pflanze selbst zwecks Energiegewinnung verbraucht (Atmung, Respiration).
